What does the word, magic, mean to you?

I raised my daughters in the Southern Baptist Church. The word magic had some deep wounds, and I was personally afraid of anything connected to magic. I have also discovered that I have been hunted and killed in previous lifetimes for magical and Intuitive abilities.
